Managing the risks of climate change

Introduction

We are committed to providing affordable energy to empower human progress and improve standards of living while advancing effective solutions to address climate change.

ExxonMobil believes the risks of climate change warrant action. Our climate change risk management strategy consists of four pillars: mitigating emissions in our operations, developing scalable technology solutions, providing customer solutions that reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and engaging on climate change policy.

Climate change is a complex issue requiring global participation and solutions. In my role, I apply my technical, operational and regulatory background to evaluate strategies and partnerships to progress new solutions, an important factor in improving our emissions performance.
